Classic and refreshing, an ice cold Gimlet is our drink of choice for this week's Happy Hour! The pairing of lime juice and simple syrup strikes an ideal balance between sweet and tart. Prepare with gin for a traditional Gimlet, or replace with vodka for an update to the flavor profile.
Gimlet Drink Recipe | Cloth & Paper Happy Hour 03.12
Ingredients:
- Gin or vodka
- Lime juice
- Simple syrup
- Ice
Process:
1. Combine 2 ounces gin or vodka, ¾ ounce lime juice, and ¾ ounce simple syrup.
2. Shake over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Serve neat or on the rocks. Optional: garnish with slice of fresh lime.
