The Halftone Planner Dashboard gets clearer the further you step back from it. Across the page, a headline set in soft grey dots makes the case that sorting your work into folders is where the thinking starts, with a short passage in black type running down one side about the difference between building a system and working through it. The headline is printed as a halftone, an analog technique where dots of different sizes stand in for shades of grey, so the words sit back as texture until you take in the whole page.
Set it at the front of a new section. The dots stay light enough for you to layer a translucent dashboard over the top, and the black text stays readable up close. Turn to it whenever your planner needs sorting, and the page reminds you that putting things in order is where your ideas begin to take shape.
